We had few answers for Burrow and Co. He’s probably your Heisman winner and probably Top 10 draft pick. You beat us. Credit to Orgeron for building a winning culture and remaking your offense. It may be an actual rivalry again.
But Bama ran it down your throat on the first drive before you were gifted the ball on a freak turnover - which no LSU player had anything to with - right as Tua was about to walk into the end zone.
You were spotted a 20-point lead at halftime, shut out in the 3rd quarter, outscored 28-13 in the 2nd half and won by 5 against a QB who had his ankle bones tied together with fishing line 3 weeks ago.. The game ended on an onside kick. It was a classic dogfiight and a rematch would be no different. I’d play you again this Saturday.
