They've had an advocate on the committee every year til this year ...2 advocates '15 '16 & '17.
Ken Hatfield was added in '18 in Bobby Johnson's last year.
Hatfield now sits alone as their only 'connection' to the committee - and that is anything but good unless Hatfield is a complete pussy or receiving another "buyout" on their behalf. We all know how his time at Pickens ended ugly.

thats what gets me. i understand you can only play the teams on your schedule but other teams have harder schedules. those teams will battle it out and 2 of the top 4 will get knocked down.
clemson right now has no care in the world. they play nobody worthy of beating them for the rest of the year so they will eat popcorn and watch some poor team get picked off.

another thing, i can see scenarios where the sec only gets 1 team in the cfp..
1.if bama at #3 loses to lsu they would most likely be out.
its possible that when penn state loses to osu they may claw back in. i doubt it.
2. if bama beats lsu saturday i can see a slight possibility where lsu may fall from 2 to 5.
3. if uga happens to win the sec championship game they may be penalized for losing to a sorry sc team. then they dont get in.
if i was clemson i would just take care of business and let it play out.

Not saying it's going to happen, but it's certainly possible. Hell the year we lost to The Citadel we only lost to Clemson 35-31. Pretty sure we all expected to get blown out that game.

This game had the weirdest vibe to it of any in my entire time as a Gamecock. It was like a scrimmage that nobody gave a shite about in the stadium that day.
