Ok, boys and girls. Another top ten SEC matchup. Gators have the offense and Georgia the run game. Should be an instant classic. Gators vs Georgia are 2-2 the last four games. Lets make it 3-2.

I grew up in Georgia. I want UF to beat UGA the most out of any team on our schedule every year.

This team needs to beat UGA. It was the biggest game on the schedule preseason and it is just as big now. UF needs to change the perception that UGA is better than UF at football right now. The only way to do that is win.

Beat UGA, and I think we finish 11-1 with a shot in the SECCG to go to the playoffs.

Beat Georgia and it shows recruits and fans alike that Kirby just doesn't have it in the tank to be an elite coach and get 'the big one'. Lose and I think we can recover, we are underdogs for a reason, but the recovery may take a lot longer than we want to admit.

This line is based on national perception and models that haven't accounted for Georgia suddenly being exposed offensively while UF has gotten better each week. I'm betting most experts with salt pick UF. Sometimes you can just see a team is better. Our schedule got knocked for the two FCS teams. But compare the P5 wins..we have simply been better. Our best win is better, our loss way better, and comparing like opponents we've been better.

Not even really close. Similarly, we actually beat a common opponent and our only loss is to LSU on the road.

Im just happy that there are no fishing tournaments this weekend (1 left after the WLOCP...maybe we can get a night game against Vandy?).
My total focus will be enjoying the game. Will drink the non alcoholic beer Cathauer (sp) a German/Belgium brew rated # 1 in the world for N/A beers...awesome beer. That O'Douls is pure water crap.

We should beat Vandy but I'd bet they play us close. Simply because it will be a big emotional let down. Either so hype from a win, or down from a loss. Either way that game will be annoyingly close for awhile most likely. Especially a noon game. I hate noon games.

Finch, don't worry...I predicted in the spring that we would beat UGA and nothing has changed. Will kick back bunkered in the family room, no cell phone, no distractions. Enjoy the game. I remember years ago getting very nervous before big games...one of best ones was when we played AU on the plains and I was traveling...I stopped in a hotel in Pensacola and listened to every word from Otis Boggs RIP, one of the best play by play guys. It was 1985...we were on NCAA probation and AU was powerful. It was a classic slobberknocker tight game with every yard fought for. Auburn was a location we seldom won at and we did this time...14-10.
Oh well Vandy will be listened to on the boat radio.

I bought tickets to Mizzou game last week, plan on celebrating an SEC East championship with the Gators in Columbia. Go Gators!

Well, its November 1 and one more day to go. Cant wait to go into the bunker mentality and seal off the outside world. No distractions.
Just enjoy the game as it unfolds...don't get pizzed if things don't go our way early on...its what we do most of the time and then we adjust and start kicking buttski.
