I don't think any of the decision-makers wants Dabo. It'll be tough to go from a CEO coach who's the face of CFB, to a goofy, awe-shucks guy who plays up the southern accent.

He probably will, but he and Dabo are pretty friendly. They make a point of dining together when they are at their neighboring beach houses. If Dabo is who the AD at the time wants, Saban won't try to dissuade them unless he is absolutely dead set on someone else (and while I think he'll have say, I don't think he wants to name his own replacement).
