I expect a hard fought game as always with LSU winning in the end as too much firepower.
(Plus since they cigar incident you have been cursed to no win in Tiger stadium for 20 years)
This was discussed on SEC Nation with your last National Championship Coach Gene Chizik and guy from Florida.
FG: You were a defensive coach so how do you stop LSUs offense.
GC: Now that they are running the ball it’s almost impossible. If you bring your safeties up they torch you with their big elite receivers on the outside. If you take away the deep balls the gash you with the run and short passes, so right now it’s pick your poison.
FG: And they are getting their best deep threat guy Marshall back this week.
GC: Shakes his head in “Auburn is so screwed”
Burrow is hitting almost 80% of his passes and for the first time all year everyone is healthy. You can’t cover Jefferson, Marshall, and Chase and Moss every play and the running game is getting very effective now as teams have to back out to slow down the passing attack leaving them vulnerable to the run.
Burrows SEC leading stats are even better when he is pressured, and he can actually run.
Your dline is great but his quick release and reads means the ball is gone typically before you can even think pressure.
Also they almost never turn the ball over.
So how do you stop them? I don’t think you can.
Your best shot to me is try to keep up and pray for some turnovers etc. The Tiger defense has given up a lot of points in first half of many many Games.
I am sure the refs will keep it close etc, and weather maybe a factor but I don’t see this being a 24-21 game like usual more like 42-38 if it’s really close

Gene Chizik doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground.
That's why he got fired at Auburn.
The guy is a defensive coach, and when he was at Auburn, we fielded the worst defenses in decades.

My favorite part about these posts is knowing how excited the OP was in putting together that wall of text thinking it was edgy and hot take.
Then realizing no one reads it and it will soon be buried.

AU hired him
Then hired his OC as HC
And continues to give extensions with massive buyouts...Maybe AU doesn’t know their arse from a hole in the ground...

I guess Auburn will be left with no options. Sorry about Burrow’s knees.

OP worked hard on that...and showed why Auburn folks employ LSU folks

We've had more success in the last 10 years than LSU. What does that say about your program?

How is Whitlow recovering? I didnt get to see much of AUB/ARK, who is running the ball in his absence ?

I'd be very surprised if AU needs to bring safeties in the box to slow down the running game.

The bigger concern is if LSU can isolate faster guys against our LBs. That is what Florida did on the second play of the game.
We had our chances against Florida, Florida had their chances against LSU. Home field has made the difference, that benefits LSU.

It says you’ve only beaten LSU 3 times in the last 10 years...and 0-2 vs Ed O...

You think Auburn can score 38?

quote:LSU should hang a banner. It's all they have to show for about the last 10 years. Yall are the UGA of the West. Any time someone mentions yall not winning anything you jump to your record against Auburn.
