I think we're looking at coaching/leadership issues on offense. One of the Fields advocates (HTDawg?) made the point that the dawgs had failed to develop their passing attack in the first few games of the season. I agree. Not on the other stuff about Fields. Just this one point. Coming into the SC game, we were hearing something to the affect that the dawgs needed to 'stretch the field more' or air it out more or whatever. I think the dawgs had 51 pass attempts against SC. That's 20 - 25 too many. So maybe the HC was thinking +5 passing attempts, with a few of the extras going downfield. But the OC heard 'double down'.

Of course the dawgs will figure this out and run the table.

People get hung up on the 51 passes but need to realize when a lot of those passes occurred. I think 16-18 of those passes came in 2 minute to end the half and the 4th quarter. Times when you have to pass and we were chasing points.

Had the interceptions, fumbles, and dead drives not occurred, the passes wouldn't have reached that total. But we have two 2-minute periods that were predominantly pass; plus 2 periods of overtime.

They didn't execute to their potential--all that matters.
