we are eligible during our appeal and if we win the appeal. Why are only ineligible if we lose the appeal. So right now we are eligible. Why we have to keep splainin this
BTW it's all political bullshite and the ncaa and the SEC are just waiting around deciding what to do.

Right now? Yes, Missouri is eligible.

I guess I'm just not that afraid of Florida like some of y'all are. They're good, but I still like Georgia in that game
It’s the normal overreaction. Fl looked decent in the loss, but my Gators have some injuries and UGA still has a ton of talent and has a very strong front. It’s a pickem game IMO. I’d love for Fl to go in there and roll UGA, but I doubt either is favored much. Same with Mizzou.

Mizzou is currently eligible because the ban is in appeals, until it is resolved Mizzou is eligible.

You ok WG?
of course, you act like this is the first inexplicable loss I've seen

Hilinski finishes that game and we score at least 1 or 2 more touchdowns. Don't kid yourself.
I mean there's nothing that would really prove that but ok.

I bet you thought UGA would kill us too
I did, so did everyone. Once I saw how we were actually playign football that day I realized that wasn't the case.

Bet you ALSO thought when Hilinski went out that Georgia would come back.
I've seen over 3 years that we completely forget how to football if a QB comes in we haven't specifically game prepped for. So while I thought our chances were improved I didn't think we'd start scoring in bunches. After all our defense wasn't the problem.
Not sure why teh snark either, nothign I said was incorrect.

SC is a bad football team
this is true.

SC has zero chance whatsoever to win the east
this is reasonably true. The chances may be at 5% or something instead of 0% but let's be real here. They aren't winning the east.

UF will kill them.
maybe some hyperbole, but UF will win by double digits.

Holy hell, Missouri got Ole Miss and Arkansas from the West?
Is this where we whine about that not being fair and how the permanent cross-division games should be abolished?

It's not down to four teams unless we beat UF Saturday. I don't even have us in this conversation right now.

Yeah I had SC as a trap game, but now that you beat Georgia it won't be a trap anymore. But UF has had 2 huge, physically demanding games in a row and I wonder if we can handle what I am sure will be another tough, physical, grind it out game.
There is an old saying in football .... don't let the last game beat you. They say that for a reason.
Florida has twlocp the next week.
This game is in Columbia in The Cock Pit.
It's still a trap game for Florida .... just not as big of one as it was this time last week.
Gamecocks are pretty nicked up. Not sure where UF stands in that regard.
Not sure I trust Boom's assessment of Hilinski's injury.
Joyner, our third string guy, is gimpy with a nagging hamstring problem.
Our fourth string QB, Urich, is going to get a lot of snaps early this week .... with the ones. I heard he was out throwing the ball yesterday with the WRs trying to get a head start. He's been playing WR and STs.
Our defense came out of this is pretty good shape.
Vegas has UG as a -7 fav and that seems about right from here but who knows.
It's going to be a cool Fall day, the crowd should be good, the fair is going-on so there will be a festive atmosphere around this game.
I had us winning this game straight up early in the season against Franks. UF looks like a better team with him out so right now it just seems like UF has the advantage.
But it's still a trap game for UF.
