Iowa Hawkeyes - Classy move

The Iowa Hawkeyes have built a hospital for children that faces the stadium. Only children in the hospital and their families are allowed in that area of the hospital during game day. After the first quarter of the game they ask the entire stadium to turn around and wave to the children. Well done Iowa.....that's incredible.

Beautiful. The Birmingham Barons have picked up the same tradition with Children's Hospital

Did they add something to it?

Well it's not a new thing - they did it all of 2017 and 2018. Talked about on ESPN about 1,000,000 times (and rightfully so, it's awesome).
Was just wondering if they added something to the tradition this year or something.

I think this has been a fairly big story for a few years, so he's wondering why you made a new post about it (did they just make a new addition to it?)

Fair. And not that I know of, it popped up on my Facebook feed. I used to search for things like this before posting them, but the search feature seems borked up.
Besides, it's a good thing. Even if it is older, why not have the occasional reminder that some of college football is filled with stories like this?

I doubt anything would come up because most posts about it would be 2 years old.

So you don’t watch college football... at all?

Agree - it's very cool and seems to come from a genuine place.

I never heard of this and I watch plenty of College football. Thanks for sharing and don’t listen to the Germans and their Pearl Harbor crap.

May be the best thing I’ve ever seen in sports. The waving tradition has quickly become the best tradition in all of college football. Just to give those little ones even a few moments of joy is incredible. Iowa should be extremely proud.
