With him and Knox on the field at the same time one of them is almost always open. If we get both of them healthy at the same time even with our shittastic play calling I think we will have success. That being said we will likely go 3-9 or 4-8 this year and although last year team was bad this team is not. There is no excuse for having that type of record with the talent I can see on the field. Under the right coach this offense would be dynamic and explosive. You’ve got 2 phenoms at receiver an nfl caliber running back and tight end. And a qb with a rocket attached to his shoulder. There is no excuse for this offense to be this bad. I don’t want to waste burks under morris. We need to go get a coach who knows how to throw the ball and get him here for starkels last year. If he brings swords and discusses who would win in a fight between a tiger and mountain man occasionally in press. Conferences that would be oky with me too

yes that way we can learn a new offense in half an offseason under a coach who didnt recruit the kids here and has no connections to them.....I dont see how this could go wrong

I'm more concerned about our defense.

Yes there is....it's a shitty OL that was left by Fatass and his even fatter OL coach.

Your love for Leach is well documented but some of us don't see him as the savior we desperately need.

Now, if he can just remember to line up correctly.

We're weak on both lines. Until that's remedied we aren't going to be able to compete regularly. Morris could obviously be doing a better job of calling plays around our weakness, but we seem to have completely abandoned most screens and quick reads. As things are, the offense is going to continue to have issues finding a rhythm until we are solidified enough up front to keep Starkel from having to rush reads every 2nd dropback.

It's the opposite problem on the defensive end. We hardly ever can generate pressure on the QB without bringing extra men on a blitz.

Hard to win ballgames when your QB is consistently harassed and your run game push is 50/50 at best and the opposing QB has all day to throw. Gotta win in the trenches.

Good lines (and depth in them) is the key to success in the SEC.

We need to get our receivers to learn to “block” like Bama teaches their’s to. We finally have a few SEC bodies at receiver and they could help us with our screen game. This could help Hammonds and Warren to realize their potential. They have the speed you can’t teach that you need to make some of these plays work.
