Vanderbilt sucks arse thus far, at least Tennessee and Arkansas have a win.

To be fair, Vandy has played two teams in the top 4. Tomorrow they have a chance to beat a decent team and start the upward trend.

What may be worse is a program with great recruiting resources like georgia being unable to win a natty in this century.
You win alot of games,we've even beaten you,yet have no hardware other than conference titles.
Must be disappointing as hell.No wonder you look for others to help yourself deal with this failure.

Arkansas isn't even among the bottom two teams in the conference. Vandy is clearly worse than them.

The post wasn't meant to pick on these programs. But both have really struggled to beat anyone and have losses to non Power 5 schools that are bad in their own conferences. Someone brought up Vandy and when Vandy loses to San Jose or Georgia State or someone similar, I'll lump them in too. But this is really bad football.

Well in '99 LSU went 3-8 while USC went 0-11. Arkansas and Tennessee have that win total matched already.

Well I cheated, I remembered that USC went winless so I looked that up and then the rankings for the SEC that year.
In the 2000s there were a lot of combined 4 and 5 win seasons for the teams at the bottom of each division. Since then most of the low ball teams still pick up 3 or 4 wins, Arkansas going 2-10 last year is a rarity.
You see some outlier seasons like the time the bottom of the East won 5 games but generally the two squads at the bottom don't dip below 4 and sometimes combine for a fairly respectable combined total.
