There's no such thing as "ACC fans". Clemson fans are just Clemson fans, we don't use the conference as an excuse when we lose
Why does it matter who the top 5 are when the number 1 ACC team last year beat the hell out of the number 1 SEC team? The number 1 SEC team who cruised to a win against every SEC team

I'm interested in both conferences as I grew up in acc country but now live in the sec footprint.

Pitt has played well the last two weeks going 1-1 against top 15 teams and almost winning on the road in Happy Valley. Virginia beat Pitt by 2 TD’s.
People only seem to notice this stuff when it’s SEC teams.
