Don’t know and don’t care. As long as Clemson is winning I don’t care. Wanted to leave the conference for 35 years.

Clemson

Wake
UVA

Pitt
UNC (bias in play)

Conference will be Clemson, UVA, UNC, and Miami for the foreseeable future until FSU finds a new coach. Clemson is Clemson. Bronco always seems to put together tough teams. Mack is back. I like Miami’s young QB.

Had your chance in the 90's but your leaders pussed out.

That ship has sailed and Columbia got your port city status.

I feel bad you are stuck in a conference with a bunch of basketball schools that treat you like a red headed stepchild. Not like the B1G was great but at least the Terps cut those shackles from their feet.

I’d hate to see what Clemson would look like if the ACC didn’t keep them shackled.

To be fair they could emerge as a leader in the ACC.

In the SEC they would have been middle to upper middle but not elite

Conference controlled by UNC, Duke and to some extent State. Commissioner former Tar Heel Qb. Next one probably Jay Bilas. Most states the schools are in have terrible high school football. North Carolina high school ball is terrible. They win Shrine Bowl because it has 4 times as many schools.

Clemson is a better fit with most SEC schools. Should have left

NC high school football is not great, but it's not terrible.

Yeah I think there was talk of it. But nowhere to go and I’m not sure that wondering as an independent at the time was the best at the time. I was a mere kid then but I can remember some of it. Don’t know how serious talk was. Some of the older guys I’m sure could give better insight

SEC looked at Clemson and Florida State but both did not want the meat grinder of the SEC. SEC wanted TAMU back then as well but Hogs and SC jumped and SEC got their CCG first. Sometimes think this made all the difference in the world.

To be fair, if the Irish go all in by say 2025, it would boost the ACC's football stock and the Pittsburgh and Louisville additions could yield long term results for the conference in football. With P5 status they have real ability to level the field.

How exactly is Clemson treated like a red headed step child? They are one of the top 3 football programs in the nation right now. Bringing in a shite load of money for the ACC

If you feel sorry for Clemson, I can't imagine what you feel for Scar. Scar is the whipping boy for the conference and an after thought in the state. Nothing relevant about Scar at all. And you have nothing to base your middle of the road in the SEC statement on. The team that constantly dominates the SEC was just beat down by Clemson and Clemson is 2-2 against them in the past 4 years

I don’t know how old you are but the ACC has always been always been tough on Clemson. I’ll give you some examples.

NCAA gives two years probation for football. Fair rules were broken. ACC comes in and gives a third year. Never heard of conference adding a year

Clemson Maryland fight during football game. Clemson gets hammered with suspensions.
Maryland gets one or two. Both equally at fault

ACC baseball tournament was breaking attendance records in Greenville. Place was packed every game. ACC says it’s unfair advantage. Where is it now? Yeah unfair

Kind of petty with last one but just shows character of conference. Last time Tar Heels beat Clemson in football well Swafford the damn commissioner of the conference who is suppose to be impartial is running up and down the sideline with high fives and hugs to UNC players and coaches.

So maybe not treated like a red head step child but certainly not treated well in the past. Frick this conference pride mess

As if it isn't bad enough that you're over here stalking us, you can't even answer a question posed by a fan of another team that has nothing to do with us without bringing up South Carolina. You are ate up with the obsession, bitch

The rankings are meaningless. Florida in the top 10 tells you all you need to know.

Taters are so funny thinking football just started like 5 years ago

Not really, SECN was the most successful launch. ACC is struggling with their launch. Will probably beat out PACN but texas is one school and has a better deal than the ACC. BTN is solid because that footprint has lots of living alumni who will pay close to SEC numbers for mostly boring teams playing slow football.

I feel pretty cool for them. They have used that SEC money to upgrade their sports and offer competitive M and W sports across the SECN spectrum. They earn their keep and not a single sport school like Clemson.

I have watched the Taters from long before you were born. They are in a conference where it is easy to be the football alpha. In the SEC you have the historic "six" and getting beat up week by week in that meat grinder means you get some extra losses and players lost for the season making that alpha spot in a given year that more elusive. Right now Dabo can be prepping the Taters for their playoff game. SEC schools still have a season to grind through then a competitive SEC CCG.

Not being able to answer the question ranking their in conference top 5 tells you what they think of their conference.

Bama kicked Clemson's arse in 17.
Clemson kicked Bama's arse in 18.
That's all in the past Crud Baggio.
