I believe everyone sees Chad Morris and Jeremy Pruitt as bust hires (more so Pruitt than Morris). Realistically what capable coach wants that job? Rebuild is an understatement, but I think a dark horse candidate for both jobs is Matt Canada. Hear me out, hes one of the most prolific offensive coordinators (who isn't currently employed) and has tentative HC experience from Maryland (a program that was on the brink of disaster, which almost upset Ohio State 52-55).
I think he'd be a decent hire, fit for a real rebuild..but what else do yall have to lose

Eh, Arkansas had its most success when they hired an offensive play caller that excelled in the passing game.
Tennessee and Arkansas can both do better than Canada.

Maybe Arkansas can, but Tennessee has some real problems (still paying coaches) not to mention ticket sales are down. Can they afford a marque hire?

It just depends on what your standards are for a marque hire. Pulling a successful coach from another P5 school, maybe not but they can certainly grab a successful G5 coach. I think that is a better option than Canada.

We don’t think either team could take a chance on Canada at this point. They need to hire a proven guy to stop the programs free fall.
