Why the A&M Hype?

Let me start by saying, I don’t think Auburn wins this Saturday with a freshman quarterback in a hostile environment ...though I hope they do and will be pulling for my Tigers. Further, I am a native Texan and respect A&M, but...
What has A&M done to prove they are more than SEC mid tier? Colonel Crab Legs was lightning in a bottle for Jimbo at FSU like Cam was for the Chiz. When I look at current state of FSU, I struggle to understand the hype - he left that program right after he tossed the match into the dumpster. Since then Jimbo has a single victory against LSU last year to hang his hat on. What am I missing? I’m not trolling, but just don’t get it.
I’ll hang up and listen.

I’m not going to take the trouble to post it again, but you’re buying spin. Just go to Jimbo’s wiki page and look to see if Jimbo was only good with Winston.

So, inheriting a Bobby Bowden FSU team and carrying that on for a few seasons in a weak ACC makes Jimbo a good coach?
