Tip of the hat to LSU, they took care of their business. Most impressive thing to me was Coach O. Widely considered to be a default/lifetime achievement type hire with high risk & questionable upside. I thought he could be successful if he focused on his positives (energy, attitude, recruiting), identified the core problems while surrounding himself with the right staff and just let them do their job.
Well, he's done just that. More importantly Coach O had the vision & balls to install an offense that was polar opposite from their brand & the SEC in general. I didn't anticipate LSU to adapt as quickly and as well as they did, a lot of that is credit to Burrow as he was bred in that style, but the OL was solid & that's simply great coaching.
I hate losing & I'm hungry for Texas to really be back, but my post game emotions were oddly tempered by the respect for the better team and witnessing a program/HC that is pulling off a very impressive paradigm shift that could have a lasting impact on the most high profile conference in CFB.
That crazy gumbo eatin alpha Cajun Orgeron is coming & it's going to be fun to watch.

I had an excellent time in Austin and it was a joy drinking and laughing at A&M with you horns.

Their defense was in the top 50 last year whereas GA Southern’s was like 100. Didn’t make a difference.

Burrow was very impressive, slinging downfield. Texas is good. Best game of the day.

Most fun game I’ve seen in a while.
I’m praying both offenses are great as opposed to both defenses being crap. Time will tell.
Either way, I’m cheering for Texas in the rest of their games unless we meet again.
