Hard not to like Coach O, and hard not to wish him some success.
Him and Mike Leach need to do a regular, inscrutable, podcast.

More importantly Coach O had the vision & balls to install an offense that was polar opposite from their brand & the SEC in general.
While definitely a change for LSU, that’s not really the case in the SEC in general anymore.

Not really, hard to leave much of a mark on a team that has won half the NC won in the last 10 years....
Wasn't talking about the team, hoss. Glad to see you're keeping up with things.

He drank some Red Bull and has been dick riding UT all morning. I never thought I would see an OU fan dick riding UT, who lost the game. I guess he feels like he got a moral victory for some weird reason

You know that I hate to agree with you, why do you have to be so reasonable?
Yes, LSU flipped their offensive style and made it work. In fact they made it work in just two seasons. Which is damn impressive.
My concern, and I'll eat a few down votes for this, is that the LSU defense had several chances to seal the deal down the stretch and failed to do so. With a couple of stops in the 4th quarter this is blowout win for the Bayou Bengals.
That having been said, I will give the Devil his due. Right now Texas is ahead of the SWC survivors in a big way. A&M isn't bad but isn't ready for prime time. Arkansas is terrible. The rest of us are... there. Texas is looking pretty good right now.

I’m praying both offenses are great as opposed to both defenses being crap. Time will tell.
It's the style of play, nothing less & nothing more. Whether the score is 24-17 or 48-41, the delta is 7 points and one possession regardless.
BAMA gives up 34 & beats OU with better talent, BAMA gives up 44 & gets roasted by a better team. It's the future of the game & it's telling that fans can't see the parallels to golf courses that are set up for par scoring vs birdie barrages, fast track racing, pitcher friendly ball parks etc.. end of the day the margins are the same and the best man/team wins.

Sometimes that's it, and sometimes it's poor defense.
That's why advanced metrics and stats like YPP and Points Per Drive are much more indicative of defenses than traditional ones

Yeah, a freshman!! And LSU couldn't score on that same defense at home.
The joke is and always will be on you idiots.

Did Ehlinger just play great or is he that good? His throws were placed perfectly.

29-0 with no shot at a title, the real loser.

Which is true.
I humbly submit Army vs Michigan was a fantastic game even though it was low scoring and Army was running the triple option.
It is the system in place and how you execute it.
Army killing 8-10 minutes a drive is scary because you have to convert your chances if you are the other team.
Whether you score a ton of points and win by 7 or whether you claw your way to a low scoring 7 point win... the margin is the same. Do what you do and do it well and things will work out for you.

Imagine getting blown out by a freshman to lose the championship and then being so eaten up and obsessed with LSU that that’s what you talk about
