Their foe was worse than Tulane. But 700 yds worse? My post still stands.

Yeah. Tulane was a decent team. Way, way better than the team South Carolina played.

It’s more like 300 yards worse. We put up nearly 400 yards of offense (somehow). But again, we are trying to compare performances against a good G5 team vs a bad FCS team.

We should move the ball much easier this week. Tulane is around 65 in the FPI. Kent State is something like 115. That’s a very big drop.

Freakin USCe had 700 yds

And USCe also played a fricking HS team, bro. C'mon. Tulane would beat Charleston 50-10 or something. Not defending our lack of a running game, but it's still a fact.

We’ll look a lot better after we’ve lost to A&M. At that point, Joiner and DJ will start getting carries, the WRs will all be healthy, and our OL will realize they have half a season of football left in their lives.

Tulane was a decent team, S&P has them 36th in defense and 60th in offense. That ranking takes into consideration qualify of opposition.

Oh there's no doubt. They had some quality players and they are a very quality team. One of the better teams in all of college football. We just need to focus on getting better each week and everything that goes with that.
