I see 12-0 until we lose.

i get being a fan does that to people. everyone thought they would be 12-0 this year. even tennessee fans. but let's be real....

you have to curb your expectations a bit. i told everyone here we would struggle against miami. why? because we just do. it's in our nature. doesn't matter the year or team build up. but no one listened.

i'm telling you now. we're going to struggle against auburn. why? because we do. we always do. when was the last time we blew out auburn? we've lost every meeting since '02. we even lost to an auburn team that didn't score an offensive touchdown in '06. think about that for a moment. how bad to we have to play to let that happen? and auburn is prone for last second victories. we've been victim to it at least 2 times over the last 20 years. granted, we've only played 5 times (i think). but that's 40% of our matchups.

when was the time we blew out lsu? '08?

when was the last time we blew out georgia? '08?

we don't have tebow anymore and that's not a knock on franks. tebow is one of those special, maybe once in a lifetime type QBs. we won't see that type of play again for a long time, if not ever.

struggle wins are here to stay i'm afraid. at least against competent competition. and auburn/lsu/georgia aren't slouches. are we capable? i think so, but is the will there for our players? do our players have the mindset to stay focused to do what has to be done? i can't answer that one.

our defense is good enough to keep us in these games. it's the offense that's still a question mark that can get points on the board to keep us afloat.
