Not since Aranda has had tier 1 recruits. Aranda is coaching a different animal. This defense is elite.

Where do you outclass LSU in your opinion?

QB, OL & most importantly HC. Texas' weakest link is CB #2 & the LB's, fully expose that & you probably get your win.

LSU will win. They'll out physical Texas, and Burrow will make enough plays against a weak Big 12 defense. They'll cover the 4 points, but I don't think it will be a blowout.

Wisconsin talent on D = LSU Talent... You sure about that?

exas Oline vs LSU Dline matchup is better for Texas

LSU's DLine vs anyone this year is not a better matchup. We finally have our size and depth back. Ehlinger better have eyes in the back of his head because 18 will be blitzing from the edge and Texas doesn't have an OT athletic enough to stop it.

Georgia Southern has LSU fans forgetting that they were meh about their Dline and offensive tackles last year.

We lost our best pass rusher in game 1 vs Miami to an ACL tear. We didn't have the depth nor the experience we have now. The Samoan cousins are gonna wreck some OL's this year.

Ehlinger will get us those tough 3rd and shorts Burrow won't.

Burrow had 7 rushing TD's. He can run just fine. It's not Mettenberger back there.

quote:

LSU will get plenty of yards, but I'll believe their red zone woes are behind them if they can prove it against Texas.

This is a fair point. The only one you made though.

Offensive line and QB, slightly. My biggest worry is our receivers not being able to get open against LSU's stellar DBs

Two overhyped teams. I could see it going either way. Don’t really care who wins

Cosmi will hold his own. So will our RT and a TE. 18 will get his. Our version, Ossai, will get his too.

LSU is full of veteran players and we play 4 teams a year that are better than Texas.

The one team you beat last year that was demonstrably better than Texas, was Georgia.

I mean, as long as they were motivated.

Too bad for y'all last year's LSU team isn't lining up against you. Not that it would matter; last year we would have beat you, too.

Tigers by 14. If tu wins, we will never hear the end of SEC being overrated. You think they are obnoxious now, please do not let them win this game.

Honest question, what do you know about LSUs roster? Can you name 1 linebacker? Who is the best DB, IYO?

I only ask because you are very opinionated in this thread. Thinking LSU could lose is perfectly fine, but I’d like to validate your opinions.

Our DL is going to make your OL look pedestrian. Your OL will get worn down due to LSU being able to substitute across the DL without much of a drop off. Not to mention our LBs will get to your QB

LSU should win the game. I almost hope that y’all do. The inflated egos will be out of control and LSU will be the new favorite to coast to a national championship. It’s what y’all do best; win national titles in September.

In all seriousness, LSU has better players than Texas and should win the game, but Ehlinger is a gamer, I wouldn’t count on him being shellshocked
