LSU.

However, that's just wishful thinking. LSU winning big, either team winning a close game, or Texas winning big wouldn't surprise me.

LSU is more talented (and a better team imo), but Texas is a great team as well, and Herman always shows up for the big games.

They'll put their stupidity out on display soon enough. Remember the LSU is going to struggle with GaSo thread? Lotsa stupidity in there to bump.

All of that is fair

We still don’t know much given it’s early

But LSU is seemingly stacked. We will see

I think this is a great test for LSU. Texas has D1 athletes. We will see how well LSU’s offense does against Texas. I am not worried about LSU’s defense. Especially with Chaisson looking as healthy as he does and how solid the DBs look. We will see how LSU’s DL will look against guys who can actually push people around.

LSU is about 2 td's better than Texas. Texas hasn't seen a defense like that. I'm thinking maybe a 28-14 LSU win.

If LSU doesn't win, the buses should leave your entire team behind.

Texas is one of the most often over-ranked and over-rated teams out there.

This is a statement game. I think LSU wins. The only area where LSU has a weakness is on the offensive line. If that holds, LSU will be fine

I'm afraid UT might smoke us. Just hope us Tigers make it a game.

I thought Texas was going to look slow and stupid in the first game, because that's what's happened the last couple of Game 1s.

I'm a lot more confident thanking Texas is going to come out hard and fast and they won't be afraid to punch first and punch back.

I still think the depth is on LSUs side, but I'm getting pumped for a damn good game, and I won't be surprised if Texas D causes some early panic in LSU.

If we play as clean as this weekend Texas will have a long miserable day.

I think the starters will do just fine. The weakness is the depth because we don’t really know how deep we are. If nothing else, I’m pretty confident in our ability to run the ball and wear down their defense. Also, with how will Burrow looks throwing the ball and all the different looks we have with the WRs, they won’t be able to stack the box. They will have to respect the pass game at least to start off.

LSU 34
Texas 21

And I don't think the score will be indicative of the beating the Tigers will lay on the Horns. That Sugar Bowl win was fool's gold.

The talent on the field is similar imo. Both teams are made up mostly with four star players with a few five star guys sprinkled in. I think LSU wins because they believe in defense plus, nobody likes Texas.
