Bo was asked about the game winning TD pass (by Bryan Mathews)...
Bryan: "When did you know you were going to Seth and what did you see out there?"
Bo: "It was a specific play. I had him and Eli out there and I chose to go to the field. They spun the coverage and they left Seth kinda open. The safety had his back to me, so I gave him a chance. I knew he was gonna catch the ball."

Reading tweets about that pass from opposing fan bases is chapping my arse. “He threw up a prayer and got lucky”, “that desperation pass was not indicative of his talent”, etc.

Yeah, it is difficult for them to admit to the fact Bo knows this game and recognized where he had his best opportunity for a play. He threw it where Seth was in between the safety and the ball. It was a veteran play and he threw the ball well. Not all WB’s can take advantage of what is given to them. He seemed to show he can.
Did he have an awesome night statistically? No
Did he have a great night in terms of taking over the team and showing moxie? Hell yeah he did. Last night was huge in his development as starting QB. Proud of him and the team.

Thankfully on that play. Just enough protection, gutsy throw, and good play by the wr.

The best part is when they say that the safety should’ve picked it. Williams manned up and took the ball. Safety had no chance.

And if it had been complex and the pass dropped, you would be cussing Gus out for not simplifying the game plan for his freshman QB.

No. I've been pretty consistent on my issues with Gus. I'm not full on nega tiger. We've got a lot of nice pieces and I really enjoyed the win last night. Unfortunately, the oline will hold us back and we are on year 4 or 5 of Gus holding the offense back. He clearly isn't going to change and unfortunately, Auburn won't be as good as it could be because of it. I've accepted it. I'll still enjoy the highs of the season and support the team regardless.

Yes, but instead of just enjoying the kids take on the game winning play you felt why not shite on it and add your dislike of Gus to the equation.
I don’t have a problem with people disliking and wanting Gus gone. I have an issue with bringing it to just about every thread.

Sounds like you should be focusing on something more than Gus. He can’t fix that shite.

Agree to disagree, but I'm happy to keep my thoughts on Gus confined to the rant and leave this as a safe space for those that need it.
My wife is pretty tough anyway.

When you throw it to Seth Williams, it’s not a 50/50 ball. It’s a 70/30 ball in his favor.
Bo Nix took a shot and his explanation says it all.
The dude has balls. A big set.

“It's just amazing to see a true freshman come in and play like he's been doing it, you feel me?” running back Boobee Whitlow said. “He's playing like he's been doing it. Just seeing that — yeah. Jit gonna be alright.”
I agree Boobee, Jit is gonna be alright

I was impressed with how Bo handled the interviews last night. He very naturally shares the attention with teammates. His story is so cookie cutter perfect he'll need to find ways to take the shine off him from time to time.

What cracks me up............you see QB's make that throw multiple times every game. But with Bo it was a "hail mary" type throw.
The kid threw a strike and the receiver made a play. nothing more/nothing less.
