Oregon to use 3 kickers?

Was listening to some Portland radio and they said Oregon will rotate 3 kickers on fg. They said the kicking game is a mess. With this expected to be a close low scoring game. This could be a big deal.

That doesnt make sense. If the first one makes one, you keep using the hot one. If they actually switch, thats retarded.

I think it would make sense to have a left footed and a right footed field goal kicker given the wider hashes in CFB. Those short field goals from the right hash for a right footed kicker (or the opposite for a left footed kicker) always make more nervous.

It really shouldnt make a difference. Mentally it might. But physically you are still trying to hit a certain spot.

They are still battling. Everyone expects Camden to be the starter. Just some backdrop, Oregon has two scholarship kickers. Everyone expects the incumbent to be processed. He has battled injury and Camden was offered in the 2019. The radio guys in Portland aren’t in the loop.
FYI, Camden was 3 for 3 in the last scrimmage and is hitting from beyond 40. This is a big step up.
