Per Dave Matter:
Lindsay Scott should just go to class at this point. No point in transferring again.

Two roster updates from Odom: WR Alex Ofodile has decided he’s done playing football. QB Lindsey Scott Jr. is looking to transfer. He wasn’t at today’s practice.

Is Ofodile hurt? Or just not good enough to crack the lineup?

Not good enough, has focused on school a lot the last 1.5 years, also had a major Distraction for good reasons after his mother died this summer from cancer. People in the know seem to think he’ll do wonderful things with his masters.

So a five star high player got a masters degree and ended his football career? That’s still a good story. Good for him. Too bad about his mom.

A real man would have eliminated such distractions.

You have to chase your dreams at his age. He does not want to have any regrets later in life. But a Division 1 QB he probably is not. Call Steck up and see if Mo State needs him.

MO State is a D1 team

In basketball and baseball, not in football.

Yes in football as well. FCS is also D1

I shall edit, if he wants to play D1 call Steck up.

I remember being disappointed Pinkel couldn’t lock him down during his recruitment. I thought he was going to be a really good player. Best of luck to him.
