Nothing against South Carolina, but how bad is North Carolina? I wouldn't expect the number to be that high.
ETA: I just looked up their results from last year. They went 2-9. Never mind, I understand that 8-point line now.

Starting a true freshman QB as well - without much proven around him.

I think cfb is going to have to move to a P5 division and a Group of 5 division with better scheduling. There are just too many uninteresting games in cfb. I know it will hurt lower divisions, but P5 needs to only play other P5 schools.

Show me another P5 conference with three 20+ spreads against them .... two of them 35 or more.
Is the ACC favored un any games vs P5 opponents other than against themselves?
We know Duke, UNC, Ga Tech and Louisville, as well as Miami, are underdogs .... three of them bug underdogs.
I dunno. The ACC .... oh wait, I see FSU is less than a TD fav vs BSU. The ACC is pretty weak this season, once again.
A couple of years ago I would have thought they were making a move, but they're not. They're still a one trick pony even if we count Notre Dame .... and that is a joke in and of itself.

Couldn't agree more and if youre a G5 school that cant afford to have football without P5 support maybe you shouldnt have football

My thoughts on the A&M line:
PROJECTION: Texas State 17 – (12) Texas A&M 36
Vegas sees this as Aggies -33.5 and a total of 57.5. The under seems like the play here, and I’d lean toward A&M minus 33.5 but can’t stomach that large of a number. The only thing I am confident in pointing out is that Texas State’s offense was revoltingly bad, as in ranking in the 100’s in each of the 8 offensive categories I measure. Texas A&M’s defense is also strangely bipolar in that they ranked 4th and 6th in opponent adjusted rush yards per game and per play, but ranked 90th and 91st in those metrics versus the pass. I could see this ending up in the range of 45 – 7 with a 3/5 confidence in the under.
Thoughts on other lines for Thursday games:

That line has grown, as I predicted, from -6.5 to -8 and it will go another half point to a full point by kickoff. -9 is where it should have been from the get-go.
SC will cover by double digits.
Now you'll have assclown sheep humping sister bangers claiming a big spread over SC three months in advance (see just above this post) which only proves their ignorance and hubris. They don't understand the betting game because they've lost touch with reality playing a weak ACC schedule during their little run.
Eventually they'll be slapped back into reality. The ACC is a one trick pony. It's the biggest joke of a football conference among all P5 conferences.
Conference power ratings have proven that during the course of the past twenty years. The ACC is a one trick pony.

quote:Mark Stoops coached team against a small conference opponent. Never take the over. If we don't come out flat enough Kentucky will take a knee on every series to protect the over. Might even be unwise to pick KY to cover.
Kentucky (-11.5) vs Toledo
