There wouldn't be 3 SEC teams on probation right now if Mike Slive were still around

Commissioner Sankey is just here to collect his pay check.

There will be a 4th team on probation soon with whatever sanctions Auburn gets for basketball.

When was the last time at least 3 teams were on probation at the same time?

Finally getting back to our roots. This whole "we're clean we don't cheat or go on probation" thing was way too stale and boring.

Sankey is a pretty useless commissioner and I'll just leave it at that.

On Probation:
Ole Miss
Missouri
Mississippi State

Under Investigation:
Auburn
LSU

Regardless of how you spin it, there's a real possibility that half of the conference will be on probation before this is all said and done with. Sounds to me like Sankey needs a show cause and the SEC needs a LOIC.

I think these 3 teams took bullets so that Alabama, and Georgia didn’t.

Yep. They slammed Ole Miss on a bunch of nothing to pave the way to justify the rest. It's all NCAA BS.

To be honest, about the academic stuff, I'm more concerned about the school side of this than the athletic side of this. If MSU allows this to go unpunished, they risk getting hit with accreditation issues.

They need to put Foley in as the commish. That guy was amazing at keeping us out of issues.

Ole Miss, Mizzou and Miss State all get the hammer. I guess this is a pathetic attempt to "set an example" with the more powerful members of the conference since the NCAA is too scared to go after the big dogs directly.

The NCAA is going to punish so many schools, it seems, that they will usher in their own demise.

I'm really glad we self reported the violations. Joe Moorhead is such a classy guy. The ship should be close to being righted now. Just a shame that Dan insisted on recruiting nothing but bad apples.

What LIES you Gators tell about yourselves!!!

Either that or you just plain DON'T KNOW ANYTHING about the school you support.

Here's just a PARTIAL list of players arrested at the University of Florida---and this is just up to 2010 only (full list is far, far too long)---all under the tutelage and care of "that guy...amazing at keeping us out of issues", Mr. Jeremy Foley, who was at UF from 1992-2016 (there were over 30 players arrested under Urban Meyer's reign alone).

Chris Rainey: arrested on a charge of aggravated stalking, a felony

Solomon Patton: charged with misdemeanor possession of alcohol by someone under 21.

Matt Elam: another charge of possession of alcohol by someone under 21.

Frankie Hammond Jr.: DUI

Gary Brown: misdemeanor battery after allegedly slapping a woman and scratching someone else at a party.

Carlos Dunlap: DUI

Janoris Jenkins: resisting arrest after a fight by a Gainesville night club.

Marquis Hannah: felony burglary and misdemeanor battery, in the same incident.

Carl Johnson: misdemeanor violation of a sexual restraining order.

Riley Cooper: misdemeanor of resisting an officer and failure to comply with police and fire department.

Cam Newton: felony burglary, larceny, obstruction of justice for allegedly stealing a laptop.

Jacques Rickerson: misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Then, Foley had to butt heads with Mr. "Superior" Steve Spurrier himself. Spurrier wanted to skirt the entrance requirements at UF in order to get certain players admitted into school in order to play for UF. THIS...was one of the reasons why he decided to leave Florida because Foley wouldn't budge on this issue (good for Foley). FYI....it's known that Spurrier failed to pay up on his golfing bets with some of his buddies, including agreeing to pay up several thousand $$$ he lost owed to a friend of his.

P-L-E-A-S-E....Florida's about as innocent as Al Capone. Florida should be given the death penalty just for all the crime committed by its players over the years.

Just from the end of February to the beginning of April.

6 Georgia football players arrested

• Sophomore LB Brenton Cox, Stockbridge, Ga., 4-2-19

• Redshirt sophomore LB Robert Beal, Norcross, Ga., 4-2-19

• Freshman DB Tyrique Stevenson, Homestead, Fla., 3-24-19

• Senior WR Tyler Simmons, Powder Springs, Ga., 3-24-19

• Redshirt sophomore LB Jaden Hunter, Atlanta, 3-20-19

• Redshirt sophomore DB Latavious Brini, Miami Gardens, Fla., 2-28-19

And none were kicked off the team. I guess Spring is the time for UGa players to get sprung.
