If Clemson figured that out

I find it strange if SEC defense didnt figure this out too. I mean who would have thought it was beneficial to disguise coverages...

I'm sure some teams did but either didn't have the intelligence to have a good game plan or didn't have the players to run the plan.

nobody in the sec except Georgia got to play Tua with 2 sprained ankle and a sprained knee. Also, nobody else got a month to practice for him. Comments the Clemson players have made since the championship game made it clear they were repping Alabama instead of Notre Dame, who they knew they could beat easily just on talent. Tua not being mobile made it so much easier for them to defend us, as locksley was very sold on the rpo stuff. Honestly we probably should have started Jalen for that game, don't know if we could have won it without tuas passing ability, but Jalen sure would have caused problems with his legs. Having zero running that from your dual threat qb in an offense doing rpo simplifies your job quite a bit on defense

SEC teams have to actually plan for their next game. They can't take time to dedicate all resources to studying a game 4, 5, 9 games down the road.

Clemson didn't have to worry about their next opponent all season. A near scare at A&M, but that was it.

Clemson is Bama 2.0 with ELITE players all over the field. So having that is what it takes. Other teams try to but just cant match the talent of them. Clemson can and has.
