I know of another SEC school that fits this description. Except they've never played in a BCS or NY6 bowl

Another day, another LSU thread about A&M.

Keep on, keeping on.

LSU didn't "steal" Scott Woodward.

They bought him.

For 50k.

If you don't think $50k for Woodward is a steal, I am sure there are plenty of institutions that would gladly disagree with a bag full of cash.

I will secretly award LSU a field goal for getting Woodward.

74-72 has sent them over the edge.

They can’t even beat Jimbo with Sumlins cruits.

Go Tigahs?

Hell State and Ole Miss have been to NY6 more recently than A&M.

When the highlight of the history of your school is 74-72

Keep waiting for great accomplishments but all the ammo you have is 74-72

I’m pretty sure my comment was on the money the first time, as this is literally a thread about aggy that was started by an LSU fan.

74-72 fricked up your psyche

No... but it sure gave a1m fans some serious fricking amnesia!!!! One game you delusional frick... one game, and 7OTs as a kicker.

Good lord I can't wait for that last game of the regular season.

There isn't a single Aggy on this LSU website that has seen aTm in a:
-National championship game in football
-Men's Elite 8 in basketball
-CWS Championship series in baseball

So, I know this is supposed to be a “troll” but, I truly want to be genuine when I say this: that is brutal.

Does anyone have a grandpa that remembers that 1939 football national title that can tell them about it? 11-0. 14-13 Sugar Bowl win over Tulane. Seems like it could have been an enjoyable season.

Lots and lots of teams haven’t won championships in baseball or basketball or baseball. It’s not that brutal.

That said, I’m eager to see one!

The following is a 100% true conversation I had with my 6 year old son after Clemson and Deshaun Watson won the national championship:

“That game was amazing Daddy. Has A&M ever won the national championship?”

“Yes, som, but it’s been a long, long time, since before I was born.”

“Well, Daddy, we’ll keep rooting for them! And if we die, and they still haven’t won, we’ll root for them from heaven. But I guess in heaven we’ll have to root for everyone. Except the Longhorns and LSU. Longhorn and LSU fans won’t be in heaven.”

LSU Fan should relax.

The last time they had relevance they were taken to the woodshed. Crossed midfield exactly once. Had a paltry 4 first downs and needless to say, zero point zero points.

Hell, the same coach that got them there was hoisted on his players shoulders after beating a Sumlin led team which saved his job. LSU has gone from playing (and losing soundly) in the Natty to celebrating a win over Aggy as if it was a Natty.

Now they can’t even beat Aggy.

Poor LSU.

Better to have had and lost... than to never have had at all. But keep playing your third string fiddle.
