Without Emmit Gooden, who finished third on the team in TFLs in 2018, how young are Vols up front on DL?
They don’t have a single player who averaged more than 10 snaps a game last season.
As a unit, they now return just 4 solo tackles and 1 sack. Yikes.

Our line last year was comprised of 4-3 DEs, a DT who broke one leg and tore an ACL in the other, and a DT who’s most notable contribution to UT was kidnapping and stranglin some girl.
We were fricked either way coming into this year, all this means is that I’ll get to see muh favorite player contribute as a freshman.

Wasn't Gooden that badass from that series "Last Chance U"?

He was once committed to Arkansas, and was teammates with current Arkansas RB Rakeem Boyd.

Yeah - we will miss him this year. We have plenty of depth now... just no one with actual game experience. He’s explosive. Looking forward to having him back for 2020 when the d-line should be very good.

I'm sure he's a great kid, but I can't tell if his eyes are too close together or his head around his eyes is too large.

Wish the frickin NCAA would go ahead and clear Solomon already. (But of course Justin Fields and Jalen Hurts got their clearances within days)

That waiver process is ridiculous

Were cursed on linemen in general. I dont know if every school has had as many players medically retire from football as we have had linemen but its ridiculous. i almost expect it at this point.

Jalen Hurts is a grad transfer. He didn't need a waiver.

Its better if he sits out a year imo.
