What are the expectations for your team’s offensive line this year?

Good, mediocre, a liability, unproven?

The only question mark on our team unfortunately.

Drive the opponent’s dicks into the dirt on every play. Nothing less with what we have on the O-line

Lots of pancakes IMO

I expect Top 3 in the league. It's really our biggest strength this year.

I’m just hoping they can all move in the same direction when necessary.

Thomas is a beast who’s replacing Gallard?

Our best lineman, Erik McCoy, was drafted in the 2nd round. Big question mark around who will be replacing him. Not necessarily about who it will be, but moreso, how he will compare to what we lost. The entire line should be upperclassmen though so that is certainly encouraging.

one of our strengths

1st 4 games average to Good. Once Deonte Brown gets back 2nd best in conference and probably country behind Georgia.
Alex Leatherwood moving to his more natural position of LT will help tremendously. I would put our 2 tackles up against anyone

Well... I would add some small question marks to RB, WR, LB... and some depth question marks on the DL. I’m not sold on a brand new offensive scheme linked with talented but unproven receivers, no standout top drawer RB, and a defense that had up front questions end of last year that needs to be answered by unproven newbies stepping up, or have vast improvement by returnees.
BUT... I’m a pessimistic football observer. I’ve predicted Alabama at 10-3 record for last two years, and do so again this year. Truth is, I predict every top SEC team at 10-3 this year. So take these comments above with that in mind.,

Is Leatherwood moving to LT or staying at G?

trey hill, 5* guy from last year (recruited as guard I believe) but got backup action last year and replaced gaillard against UK when he went down. We also signed 5* C clay webb last year but he's not expected to start.
Our line will likely go
LT- Thomas
LG- Kindley/J. Salyer
C- Hill/Webb
RG- Cade Mays/Ben Cleveland
RT- I.Wilson

Thanks, On paper this has to be the best line in the country. Definitely a strength for y’all.

yeah definitely, it feels really good after OL was such a low point under the entire richt regime. 2002 was a really good one that was mostly donnan-inherited. 2005 was stout. 2007 was really good. Aside from those 3 seasons most of richt's 15 year tenure was marked by mediocre OLs with razor thin depth. It's so crazy now as a uga fan for OL to be a massive massive strength.

We were the worst in the conference last year so I expect them to still be bad but hard to be worse. We were only able to practice with 8 scholarship linemen at one point last year and now we have 16 so should at least have better depth. Bielema left the OL in shambles.

2nd best in the country behind Georgia? I don’t know. I would probably put OU ahead of both.

I imagine that’s why Pittman is the highest paid position coach in the country. Seems like he’s more than worth it, as he’s not slowing down.
