we've got some dates to fill starting with 2020. outside of the yearly blood feud, what P5 school would y'all like to see Carolina pick up a home & home with?

https://fbschedules.com/ncaa/south-carolina/

2020 - ECU, Coastal, ??
2021 - at ECU, Troy, ??
2022 - Georgia St, Charlotte, Wofford
2023 - UNC(BofA), ??, ??
2024 - Akron, ??, ??
2025 - at Appalachian, ??, ??
2026 - *none*
2027 - Appalachian
2028 and beyond - *none*

either Ray knows the SEC is going to a 9 game league slate or there's not been much emphasis put on future scheduling.

would love to hook up with the CU Buffalos and Boulder, but they're already full for years to come. same with Colorado State (Arkansas/Vanderbilt has them).

Nebraska has availability 2023, 2024 & 2025. they do have UTK in 2026/2027.

Maryland
would work for 2021/2025 ...and it would be nice exposure for recruiting that area. USC pretty much washed its hands of UMD post-ACC/Lefty. haven't played since on the gridiron since '71.

Wake Forest
same for recruiting NC. Groves Stadium would be all Garnet, too. 2024 & 2028 available.

Michigan
would be nice. looks like they've got their one P5 quota on their OOC booked through 2027. Big George deserves a nice return visit as a fan up there

This makes me sad. I get why we schedule the UNCs, NC States, and ECUs of the world, but damn am I jealous of seeing 'Bama, UGA, LSU, and UT all schedule great P5 home and homes against random teams from all over the country.

And whoever said Maryland, yes please. I'd be at that game in a heart beat.

eta: I thought this game was nixed?

eta #2: NVM, that was 2019.

Wisconsin would be cool

Madison is really fun

Although by the time that happens I’ll be 30+ so at that time don’t think I’d go or care about college towns being really fun

Let’s do a game at MetLife against ND , Michigan or Penn State

I would like a Pac12 team. We dont play those teams enough, and I think it would create more interest for members of te SEC and PAC12 to each other especially when it comes to comparability at the end of the season.

I'm on board with this. we just got the new tie-in with the new Raiders stadium/Vegas bowl. Rooster mentioned Southern Cal and OSU. I'd be down with a home/home with UCLA & the Rose Bowl.

if we keep playing the targoats I'd rather it be a home/CLT/home setup - as opposed to always BofA.

randomly looked at FSU's future schedules and they only have the UF game on the books for 2022, 2023 & 2025. might be nice to get a few wins against them while they're still trying to get their shite together.

I actually hope this game stays on the schedule. I always welcome an opportunity to go up to Boone for a weekend.

I would be gun shy about putting Michigan on the schedule. In recent years they've backed out at the last minute against us and Virginia Tech.

It's going to stay, evidently because we owe them this contractually. I like Boone and have a property we rent out up in Seven Devils. But still, it doesn't make sense unless there are some prospects up there we're after, I guess.

Frickin Shawn Elliott still haunting us.

I got my masters up their a long time ago. I loved it.

These days, much like Myrtle Beach, Boone is a junk show.

I hate neutral site regular season games. Sign me up for a home and home every time if I had the choice.
