Does the additions of Tommy Stevens and Isaiah Zuber change your predictions for MSU?

I've seen the media consensus of 7-5 5th in the West before and after these additions. So the media is saying that it doesn't matter who starts at QB nor does it matter that the leading receiver for Kansas State(who nearly doubled our leading receiver in yards and catches last year) are at MSU.

I do believe Zuber is bigger than Stevens just simply because we needed a WR who could catch. As much as Fitzgerald was at fault for not being an accurate QB, none of the WRs could catch his best passes. And honestly Zuber has proved that he will be an immediate impact unlike Zuber.

However best case scenario if Stevens works out I think States ceiling is much higher than is projected by most(I could realistically see 10 if Stevens and Zuber work out with a top 10 defense). If he doesn't, I do think State struggles again and we're probably looking at 5-6 wins.

I guess State is starting to become intriguing to me because I think they have a wider range of wins and losses than most SEC teams.

I was at 7-5 before the transfers. I think they are worth at least one win.

I'm in wait-and-see mode.

I'm a bit concerned Joe couldn't develop one of the other QBs, and am hesitant to proclaim some new person who has yet to play a snap for us as a savior.

Zuber was a good get though. I am happy the coaching staff went out and tried to address positions of need.

It solidifies 7-5 for me, with a better chance of getting to 8 (I would still bet on 7)

We have a more favorable schedule this year. 8-4 and hopefully a bowl win for 9-4

If Moorhead wasn’t the coach I would have a little bit of hope for this season. But after watching his poor management of games and personnel I have ZERO faith in him. He won’t have the #1 defense in the country to bail him out this year.
