I follow the LSU pretty closely. On Tr there has been the usual preseason frenzy of speculation about going 10-2 or 11-1. This optimism seems to be driven by the long awaited coming of an unstoppable offense.
Trouble is... I cannot identify a single LSU projected offensive starter who is likely to make the pre-season all SEC team (s), not one. Since I don't post on Tr, I thought I would politely ask my LUSer friends to help me understand.
Is it all betting on the come, hoping for improvement, and faith in the new assistant OC coach? Who are the great returning WR allowing throwing the ball 45 times a game? OL? RBs?

Yes. It is absolutely asinine for LSU fans to believe they can go from 9-3 to 10-2.
Those crazy coonasses!

Everybody knows that LSU is Alabama’s biggest rival.
Next.

If you’re so confident about the fact that LSU isn’t going to be an offensive threat, shouldn’t you be following Clemson? Seems to me that 44 scored against you would be more concerning than 0, after all.

hummm... so far there has been nothing posted about LSU offense, just personal invective and the boring and usual "44-16" which I suppose celebrates the highlight of last year's LSU's football season.
However, it is true that for the last 5 years I've wondered about the optimism surrounding LSU offense. That wonderment has always proved to be sound. So again... LSU fans tell me... why the wondrous offensive expectations this year? I'm looking for information, not looking to argue.

LSU pretty much returns the entire team from last year and has an easier schedule this year. Defense lost DW & GW, but i really do think they will be better overall this season.
All OL returns and will finally have some depth. We added 5 star RB John Emery to help the run game. Have been stock piling 5 star WRs for a few years now. I agree they are unproven, but most fans are anticipating they will be a dangerous bunch. Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson were pretty good for freshmen last season. Joe Burrow returns. He proved to be competent last season. Having an experienced and competent QB is very important. Joe Brady has generated a lot of buzz. I dont think he will "take over" the offense, but having a new different thinking type of mind to help our current OC can't be a bad thing.
The team has the skill, experience, and depth to compete, and it looks like changes are being made to take the next step. Honestly, I don't see this team going into Bryant Denny and winning, but i think we will be favored in every other game this season.

Should've been 51-16 but that's none of my business

Thanks for a comprehensive and well-thought out, well-written, summary. An up vote...
