If I were the lawyer, Jury would be reminded of the success of 2017 and 2018.
Still, Florida upsetting uga is certainly possible, but so is uga winning by double digits again.

2019 NFL draft.
1. Bama - 10 players drafted
2. TOSU - 9
3. Oklahoma - 8
3. Washington - 8
4. GEORGIA - 7 (including 1st & 2nd round)
In 2018, GA tied for 3rd putting 6 players in the NFL. The narrative that Kirby doesn’t develop players is fricking stupid.

Whatever helps you sleep at night, dude. Miami has slim to no chance outside of Florida simply having a really bad night and Miami having the night of their lives.
You wouldn't bet on Miami, everyone here knows it. Again, you're just writing a fanfic. Florida has everything except maybe the OL, but we'll do to their OL much worse than what they're going to do to ours.
In the end, Dan Mullen has an entire off-season with his boys coming off of a top ten season and with pretty much an entire team full of veterans outside of the OL vs. a team that literally could barely hit 50% of its passes last year.
It'll be almost as ugly as Wisconsin vs. Miami last year.
FSU was a rivalry game, too, and the longest bowl streak in the country was on the line. Doesn't mean jack shite when the coach on the other side of the field is just that much better.

Out of curiosity...at which position are we downgrading at?
Center, probably.
WR, but will still be strong there.
TE I would call a push. Nauta never really fulfilled his potential, and Woerner should be excellent. I would go so far as to say Woerner might be a better blocker.
Everywhere else I would say we upgrade due to experience combined with talent. I don't think he is too wrong in his statement. Can you name another place?

I thought y'alls OLine was full of veterans. Are they young? Maybe I am thinking of another team?

While true, they have some pretty impressive young QB's that now have a year under a new system. I am always surprised at the number of Florida players that grow with a year under Dan's system, yet players from other teams apparently stagnate under everybody elses system.
That said, I do agree Florida will win. maybe by a couple of scores. I doubt they score 40, though. I guess we will see.

Miami is very overrated. Just watch their game vs LSU. They got physically whipped. Their defense was bad vs good teams, and very good vs bad teams to make it look better than it actually was(they played a pathetic schedule to help this).
Florida has quite a few tougher opponents next year including
Kentucky, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and Missouri should all be better.
Miami is there with South Carolina and Tenn. Could be tough games but Florida should win unless we make a ton of mistakes.

I get what you are saying. But LSU had a pretty good team last year. If somebody took one single game out of Florida's season last year....say, Missouri, what would they conclude about Florida? One game does nto make a season, and you have to consider that that one game was the first game of the year.

Not really.

Well take any Miami game last year. They were not a good team during really any of them. So it's not basing off one game. Just showing what they were like vs an opponent of our quality(since we did beat LSU last year after all). Miami is blah.

FSU had 27 points
BC had 27 points
FSU had 27 points
Tech had 27 points
Wisconsin had 35 points
LSU had 33
That's some pretty high numbers for some very average offenses. The year before their defense was really good in 2016, especially creating turnovers. They weren't that good last year. It's not like Wisconsin or LSU are exactly elite offenses either. They played in a weak conference, on the weakest side of the weak conference, and got beaten badly outside of the conference vs LSU and Wisconsin.
That isn't a good team, and defense really isn't that great.

You got an oddly placed bar. 27 isn’t a lot of points.
Also, FSU only scored 20 o points. LSU 26.
Posted on 6/25/19 at 1:53 pm to djsdawg
It's not an odd bar.
Those are not good offenses scoring those points, nor good teams with outstanding offensive talent.
That schedule was a laughing stock. Especially in terms of offense.

It’s odd because it’s so low, especially when you consider how terrible their offense was. Only 1 team scored over 27 offensive points on them, and that was in the bowl with a lame duck coach and only after a meaningless last second score.
