I noticed your depth chart at that position is really young and Williams took most of the carries (felt like he was there for a decade), so what do you make of it?

Genuinely curious.

Untested but there seems to be some talent back there.

Jashaun Corbin showed flashes last year. He should get the bulk of the carries. Also picked up a former 4* transfer from UCF. Bunch of young guys other than that.

Ask Arkansas about Corbin.

Corbin looked great in limited work last year. We have a few options for a bigger back to compliment him but all unproven. Cordarrian Richardson is the transfer who most expect to fill that role.

ESPN's top 25 breakout SOs

quote:

12. Texas A&M: RB Jashaun Corbin — Speaking of star replacements, the Aggies have to find a new top tailback after SEC leading rusher Trayveon Williams departed. Cobin, the nation’s No. 8 all-purpose back from a year ago, averaged 5.7 yards per touch of his own in the Aggie offense.

He's big and explosive. Home run hitter and can catch the ball too. He won't match Williams, but 1200 (Yards from Scrimmage) and 10 TDs sounds about right.

Corbin has the most experience in our offense, and he looked great in limited action last year. Williams was surprisingly durable for being a smaller back.

I think it will be RB by committee early on, so we’ll see how they look. Curious to see the transfer RB from UCF Richardson on the field.

Corbin is the real deal. If his body can’t handle heavy usage for the whole season, then things are more unknown. But Corbin is really good, even if unproven.

Think Williams left the pimp stick or brought it to the pros?

Richardson was a guy who was Clemson bound before some grade scandal popped up. He seemed like a stud coming out of high school, and wouldn't be surprised to see him be the starter at some point.
