Kennedy previously had told AL.com he would wait until December to make a decision but said Sunday morning he was ready for recruiting to be over.
“I knew where I wanted to be,” he said. “I’m ready for it to be done and focus on my senior year at Theodore with my teammates.”
He said Sunday’s decision was “100 percent.”
“It feels great,” he told AL.com. “I’m not changing anymore. I just love the tradition and the coaching at Alabama and how they will prepare you, not just in football, but after football as well. I love the facilities and the school and the campus. Everything is awesome.”
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Kennedy said the Alabama coaching staff has talked to him about playing a hybrid linebacker position.

Actually he's being recruited as a hybrid S/LB. Good chance he ends up at ILB once he gets up around 225-230. Was one of the two most dominant performers at Bama's camp yesterday (along with Will Anderson, who was completely dominant).

He needed to camp for a committable offer. Almost all recruits have to do this at Alabama.
ETA: Most of our commitments camped as Sophomores and Juniors.

According to one of the recruiting guys on the radio in Tuscaloosa he was. He had him be rystal balled to LSU. Said over the weekend the way Alabama worked him in drills changed his mind. They said LSU wanted him as a speed rusher but Alabama played him both inside and outside. He liked that. That’s what the guy reported anyway.
