The hosts will be announced in about an hour and a half now. Win or lose this game Ole Miss fans and it doesn’t solidify whether you host or not because they are already made up.
ETA: D1 baseball has ole miss as 16 now. Again this game will not sway how the selection committee chooses but that’s where we are now

Why do they announce the host locations before the selection show? I don't know of any other sports that does this.

I think they’re playing for the championship more than anything. Worrying about the tourney later.

We lost 6 in a row at the end of the season - no way do we host. We'll be a #2 somewhere and have a pissed off host.

It would be hilarious if the NCAA trolled Ole Miss fans by saying they were delaying the announcement of host sites until after the SEC Tournament.. Ole Miss win and the NCAA not give them a host site.
