Stroke Play May 24-27
Match Play (8 teams advance) May 28-29

Our guys have had a great year and have a real shot to bring home the title, but I believe they should have an extra pat on the back since they all dawn their bags over their shoulders the way the game was intended.

They represent Auburn well.

There are young men who have chosen unwisely.

Our guys finished day 1 in 4th place at +4 only 2 shots off the lead. Our best player had 2 double bogeys on the backside today.

I prefer walking the course and also prefer not to be miserable

Haven't bought one yet but with the heat I felt today, I'm considering it

I don't play or watch golf, but if we're in position to win I'll actually watch and if we do win a Natty I'll be excited. Just like when Dufner won the PGA Championship and when he was runner-up a year or two before that

I may be wrong but you aren't likely a 18-22 year old either. :)

No one used pulled carts when I played in college. Times are changing.

a

Pushing up on 30 but still want to believe I'm close to 22

That said, carrying clubs has a physical cost even if small. For a game like golf that small effect could cost a stroke

We shot +6 today putting us at +10 for the tourney in 4th place with teams still on the course. Jovon had 2 more double bogeys on the backside for the 2nd straight day.

Jacob Solomon is in 4th for the individual title at -4, 2 shots back.

We are 7 shots ahead of the 8th place which is the Tuesday Match Play cut off...and 14 shots ahead of 15th place which the field trims down to 15 teams on Monday plus the top 8 individual players. Amazingly at +10 in 4th place we are 20 shots behind Okie State.

Stanford's guys team rolled them out in mass about 5 or 6 years ago...there are some studies about how it's easier on the joints: ankles, knees, shoulders, lower back, etc...I can't say I have pushed one far but I walk 9 almost ever day of my life and I have pushed a few just to check them out. The physical exertion seems similar.

Our tournaments were usually 36 on the first day then 18 second day. This was 02-06. I don’t think I ever saw anyone use one. There’s no doubt is has to be at least a little better for you. Still no one was gonna roll one out though.

Auburn played terrible today (24 over). Doubtful they make top 15.

They are 2 shots out of 15th right now...the course is playing difficult. I won't be surprised if we sneak into the top 15, but we are in bad shape for the match play cut.

Auburn at T14 right now...as I thought the teams in front of them are playing badly as well. Certainly not out of the woods, but it looks promising.

Auburn finished inside the top 15 at 13th. They are 6 shots out of the 8th place spot to make match play. They will be on the golf channel tomorrow at 4 p.m EST. It won't be easy, but we have the talent to play better than we have played...just need to put a good round together tomorrow.
