ESPN is really the only issue. It's 1/3 of the value but they have nowhere near the level of focus.

Rivals/247 at least are very focused on the recruiting side of the business. They can disagree on ratings but at least it feels like they had some human at least look at the footage for the top 200 or so.

Yea but the problem is, to have a composite, it's better if there are 3+ services right. If it's just Rivals and 247 then the composite is basically already useless. It was a better tool when Scout was around, so it had 4 sources of info (making ESPN's part of the equation smaller). I agree ESPN is the worst, but I'd rather they had 8 groups of rankings and took a composite since different "experts" will see different things
