Although I respect your opinion, I still think the past proves not a damn thing. Every season is a new one.

Well, I do think that past success makes it easier for teams like Alabama and LSU than teams that haven't had much success, but I do agree about "every season is a new one". Baylor comes to mind as a team that hasn't won much in my lifetime, but had a good run till all the relatively recent trouble.
