Serious question, how is the APR calculated? Never quite understood it.

Clearly Big4, and we're in it. Long's Legacy, top 4 in SEC APR, and a 2 win team smgdmfh.
Some of you Baws have actual retards playing.

LSU is turning into the new Ole Miss. between the basketball cheating, poor academics, coach O and no titles in anything I think we will just call them the new Ole Miss.

Coach O deserves a raise for teaching players on and off the field.

Truthfully, IDGAF. I'm not watching them boys on the field for their academic prowess.

quote:
The APR is calculated as follows:
Each student-athlete receiving athletically related financial aid earns one point for staying in school and one point for being academically eligible.
A team’s total points are divided by points possible and then multiplied by 1,000 to equal the team’s Academic Progress Rate.
In addition to a team’s current-year APR, its rolling four-year APR is also used to determine accountability.
Teams must earn a four-year average APR of 930 to compete in championships.

It would seem that early draft departures and transfers essentially count the same as a kid who is ruled academically ineligible but remains with the program... If you both leave early *and* were going to be ineligible, it's a double hit against.

You do realize that APR measures retention not GPA?

Well, LSU did beat Tennessee's best team ever even without its best player on the way to winning the SEC title, so there's that.

Once Woodward gets rid of our draconian compliance department we’ll be riding high with the SEC big boys - Bama and Vandy

This is what happens when a fanbase breaks.
