According to wiki Texas is one of the 50 states. Most people don't know much about Texas but they have a region they call the Panhandle.
North Texas. Known only for giving Oklahoma a funny shape. Incidentally most people elsewhere in Texas (Texites? idk) look down on North Texas "the Panhandle" as they do Oklahoma for being ugly, boring and dumb.
Pictured: the so called "Panhandle" of Texas (Dumb!)
Of course depending on where they live in Texas they also think this about East Texas, West Texas, Central Texas, and South Texas. One of the coolest things about Texites is they like to talk about how big and great the state of Texas is while actually hating the rest of it.
Pictured: the State of Texas being dwarfed by the rest of the country and as typical benefitting from Alaska not being to scale
note: apologies to Louisiana and the Mexicos, I couldn't get the text box that small on a map this scale
Anyways Texas is fricking retarded for calling that the Panhandle.
This should be the Panhandle of Texas.
Ergonomic modern design. Horizontal on a standard North-up map orientation. East-West. Why would a Panhandle be vertical? Is the pan that is Texas so fancy that it's hanging from a rack above the center island instead of shoved in a cabinet like those normal regular state pans? But wouldn't that say more about the house Texas is in?
Pictured: Texas in its house
Or maybe the awkward and bulky Texas "Panhandle" is buttfricking the Oklahoma Panhandle in a perpendicular fashion.
Idk
Pictured: a comparison to an actual Panhandle
Holy shite! It has the same ergonomic design even! Wow even Florida gets it.
Hopefully we can all agree and I appreciate you letting me educate on a cute little fricking retarded idiosyncrasy of this quaint and often overlooked state.

Texas transplants are annoying AF, especially in the North
They will make a point of letting you know they're a Texan, they will talk about how bad the new state they live in is, and they will be sure to mention Texas used to be it's own country and that it is the X largest economy in the world.
Then when you don't care, or incite them with jokes about the current state of Texas football, they will freak out

Silly me, I always assumed they were talking about West Texas when people say "the panhandle".

I still feel like with either handle, the pan is still pointed downward and loss of breakfast will occur.

Texas is the greatest state in the Union. Was it's own country for 9 years. Is the only state to enter into the US by treaty instead of annexation. That is why Texans can proudly fly their Texas flag at the same height as the US flag.
Since where on the topic and it seems like you would like to hear more about the Great State of Texas, here are a few facts.
The first words spoken on the moon were..."Houston"
The King Ranch is larger than the state of Rhode Island.
Texas has more Whitetail deer than any other state.
Dr. Pepper was invented in Texas.
The first Rodeo was held in Pecos, Texas.
Texas boasts the world's largest rose garden.
Texas has more farm land than any other state.
Texas has the first domed stadium in the world.
Texas boasts the worlds largest parking lot.
If Texas were it's own country (maybe one day), it would be the 7th largest producer of Greenhouse gases. Take that, AOC.
Approximately 90% of the world's helium is located in Amarillo, TX.
Texas uses its own power grid, separate from the rest of the US.
We have 85 MPH highways, the fastest in the US.
Texas is larger than every European country.
Thank you for your interest in The Great State of Texas.

Bottom line: If a married couple in Alabama got a divorce, would they still be considered cousins? ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconmoon.gif)
