Hell, at least they were smart enough to give Marshall a try.
Cant blame the school if he turned us down. At least Muss Bus wasn't our #2 choice.

I left Suckville right after Chaggy Morris got hired. Those idiots will BLINDLY follow anyone and everyone that becomes a razorback coach, player, administrator, etc. Hell, if they hired Benito Mussolini as head coach half of Tardville would be covered with threads saying "OHMYGERD Prepare for the 4th Reich!" and "Best hire ever"

This hire isn't even close to comparable to Chad Morris.
The dude has won 28 games 3 straight years and 24 4 straight years.
Mountain West isn't exactly a joke either. New Mexico, SDSU and San Jose State are in there. Along with UNLV.
It's a hell of a hire and has much more upside than Gregg Marshall.
Marshall is on a downward trend, we would have overpaid and is probably even less proven in recruiting than Mussellman.
Marshall is a good coach but we did very well. Yea, he's a little cheesy it seems but his NBA pedigree will speak volumes to these kids. That's all that matters anymore.
