His hit piece yesterday was just a rehash of old news. Basically a dud. No substance. It didn't even get a knee jerk reaction out of the reactionary LSU admin. That's really amazing display of self restraint for an administration that has a clear history of self flagellation in the public square and hurting the athletic programs to the tune of 10s of millions of dollars.
What is the over/under on Pat Forde rehashed hit pieces to be released Saturday night if LSU moves on to meet Duke Sunday? 2?

Alleva is already trying push Benford on the fans. The SI article by Delly yesterday is a pure tell.
The fans would revolt.
If Alleva promotes Benford it's going to be 5 years of SEC bottom dwellers, minimum.
Greg Heiar is doing the real coaching right now. Benford is just the face. Heiar is the brains.

Alleva has a fiduciary duty to LSU athletics.
If he fires Wade, LSU could be on the hook for $9 million.
But we would also see the loss of players though transfers and recruiting and will be devastating which would lead to being SEC bottom dwellers for years to come. That would translate into 10s of millions of dollars lost.
I don't believe that would be the best thing in terms of representing LSU fiduciary interest.
With that said, Alleva does not have a stellar track record of making sound decisions.
I mean, the guy threw the Duke LaX team under the bus when he was AD there by being reactionary to media reports. It costs Duke $40 million. And we hired him. How fricked up is that?

That said funny story time. When we fired Billy G he refused to come meet with the president.. he missed the meeting with the AD the first time they tried. The next day he spent like 7 hours driving around Lexington in his car not answering his phone.

Wade has a lot of support from the fans and LSU stands to lose a lot of money by firing Wade.
But Wade has the LSU admin against him because they are media fan boys and LSU has a racists SJW as chair of the Board of Supervisors appointed by our Democrat Governor who doesn't like Wade because of his skin color.
