Would you rather go 1 more year without Millions and end up on a better team/bigger market or do you wanna be stuck in NOLA for 5 years?

Which of the big market teams do you think will have a good chance of drafting #1 exactly? It was unsual this year for so many large market teams to be in real lotto contention

If the Knicks swing some free agents, only the Wizards and maybe Bulls/Suns are top 15 media market and likely to have realistic lotto chances.

Comparatively, some of the worst media markets are likely to be in contention for best lotto odds

- Pelicans
- Grizzles
- Hornets
- Cavs
- TWolves

Oats’ contract approved by BoT

quote:

Just shy of two months after making the hire, Alabama’s board of trustees finalized the contract of new basketball coach Nate Oats.

The board’s compensation committee on Wednesday approved the deal that expanded on the memorandum of understanding signed in March. The five-year contract pays $2.45 million a year plus a $12,000 annual expense account. Oats was to be paid a little more than $800,000 a year at Buffalo if he’d stayed.

The details for a buyout were also included in Oats contract. The school would owe Oats the following if fired without cause before the following dates:

Before March 14, 2020: $9.2 million
Before March 14, 2021: $7.4 million
Before March 14, 2022: $5.5 million
Before March 14, 2023: $3.7 million
Before March 14. 2024: $1.8 million
