Me too , hard to believe he is 6'6, he plays like he is 6'8. Very good shot blocker, averaged 3 blocks a game last year. Good all around player, he is underrated.

ETA: I wonder how tall he really is the recruiting sites say 6'6 but in a lot of articles they say he is 6'8.

Quote from him

quote:

The coaches love the fact that I’m a 6’8 wing that can play almost every position as well as defend every position.”

This is from a different article

quote:

Alex Fudge is making the jump. We see this uptick for prospects a lot in their junior year of high school hoops. Fudge is making it.

Talk to anyone in Florida and they’ll agree. The 6-foot-8 forward from Jacksonville (FL) Lee High School is on the upward trajectory that the nationally recruited players make at this juncture of their player development.

From a different article

quote:

A lengthy 6’8 wing with some serious explosion, Alex Fudge has a smooth jumper and undervalued ballskills coupled with a prototype physical profile.

Watching his highlights he looks 6'8 to me.

I'm guessing he used to be 6"6" and now he's 6'8".

Probably explains why they have him rated in the 70s/80s, at 6'8 with his skillset he should be in the top 50.

Alex “FrenTchi” Tchikou has been hearing from a slew of high-major programs and conducting Zoom calls with a bunch as well.

The 6-foot-11 French native said he speaks with head coaches from Washington, Alabama, Arizona, Florida State, Oregon, Arkansas, and USC “the most.”
“I talk to over 30 schools a week, but I probably talk to those head coaches the most,” he said.

Tchikou holds offers from Oklahoma State, Fresno State, Baylor, Mississippi State, Oregon, UNLV, USC, Kansas, Saint Mary’s, TCU, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona State, Maryland, NC State, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Arizona, UCLA, Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, Illinois, Washington, Florida State, Virginia Tech, UMass, Georgetown, Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, St. John’s and San Diego State.

I refuse to get my hopes up on him. He's probably going to stay out West, but I think he probably fits our style of play as well as any big in the 2021 class.

Man after Davidson and the Bediako the guy I want is Fudge. Looks like he has Herb Jones type defensive ability.

Tennessee must’ve started opening up the checkbooks again or something, their recruiting in football and basketball the last few months has been really good.

They’re ranked very high in football right now because they have more total players committed than everyone else. If you dig a little deeper, their class is full of 3-Stars.

Look again, they've landed 2 five stars and 2 four stars in the last 3 weeks.

Tn still has a lot of 3 stars that are committed. One guru said they would have to reshuffle their commitments to climb higher than about 10th when its all said and done.
