Yea, I thought the exact same thing... He allowed 0 completions in 8th, 9th, 10th and 12th grade. Allowed 1 in 11th that was a designed zone hole short over the middle to burn clock on a close game.

so now we're talking 5 years with 0 (legit) completions allowed. Sorry but imma call BS on that. The greatest corners that have ever lived give one up here and there. You're telling me there were no quick hitches or slants thrown in front of him..EVER, in 5 years? It's just not feasible unless every team they played for 5 years were option teams that only threw it twice a game.

The kid has basically as many batted/broken up passes as interceptions.

1 completion in last 2 years

Check out this link. I couldn't find the one where it included all 5 years, but I did read it somewhere.

He's an elite player but didn't he play at like a 2A school?

Probably has something to do with it.

We have moved from 0 to 1 in an hour, by the end of the day will it be 15?

In his final two years at Dunham High School in Baton Rouge, Stingley intercepted 13 passes while allowing just one reception in coverage

-This says 2 years, you said 5. That's quite a discrepancy
-It says "in coverage" which is misleading. I mean, what if he's playing off the WR adn they run a hitch, does that completion not count because he wasn't "in coverage"? Or if he's playing zone and someone comes in front for a catch, does that not count?

735 students, K-12.

No doubt he had gaudy stats

is a "Derek Stingleys tape" similar to an "R Kelly tape"?

asking for a friend.

the fact that I don't even think that's physically possible to allow 0 completions over a 4 year high school career.

Sounds ridiculous but it’s true. He has also practiced with the team since bowl practices and Aranda said he already looked like the best CB on the team. The players have all echoed this.

Semantics aside, he has allowed, at most, a handful of receptions. It seems ridiculous to even type it. The competition was sub par but by all accounts he is tgat good and it’s already translating to the next level.

Football in Louisiana is different. Dunham was in the same district as Tim Williams when he signed for Alabama. It's not that big of a deal.

Did u watch the clip? His ability is obvious. It jumps off the screen. It’s impressive to allow that few receptions no matter where you play.

Sure it is.

But if I'm playing the Dunham School and I look over and there's one D1 talent on the entire freaking football field, where do you think the ball is going?
