I heard today that Campbell has 34 Ks in his last 20 innings of work.

Made me perk my ears.

We'll lose some games along the way,but I really like what DVH has done for our program.

His tally for the year right now is 44 strikeouts and 4 walks in 30.1 innings of work. SEC ace numbers.

Opposing hitters are batting .209 against him.

If we can host we're in as good of a position as you can ask. This team is so aggressive. Fun to watch

I’ve been pleasantly surprised so far this season. We’ve lost out on hosting in years past from our west coast trip and early season midweeks. Taken care of business in both those areas so far.

Pitching has been better than I expected. Offensively our production has come from the bottom half of the lineup. Martin, HK and Fletcher get things going at some point hopefully

Our conference schedule is much easier then last year, so I think we have a legit shot at winning the regular season title, even if we're not the best team. In contrast to last year, when I thought we were the best team, but also played the toughest conference schedule and ended up tying Florida with the best record.

Bull pen and the bottom of the order has been a pleasant surprise.

Hobbs and Thompson have been two great additions to the staff.

We're about to hit the meat grinder of the SEC schedule.
Remember last year we went to Omaha without a road series win.

Keep everybody healthy, get Marty and Hess rolling at the plate, Omaha here we come.

I think DVH has finally figured out his lineup. I'm really glad Goodheart has looked better at the plate lately in the DH role. Once Martin gets going, this team will really take off. Fletcher is a bit of an enigma at times at the plate, but last night he was solid.
