Grant Williams, PF, Tennessee, Jr.
Key stats: 19.3 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 56.9 FG pct, 3.3 apg, 1.4 bpg
Defining game: 43 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks in overtime win at Vanderbilt
Overview: The SEC Player of the Year as a sophomore, Williams returned for his third season as a far more complete player. His scoring average is up more than 25 percent, his rebounding is up 27 percent and his field goal accuracy is up 96 percentage points. How is it possible that a player who ranked as the best in a major conference last season ranks with the most improved players in the game? Williams hit an early February funk when he averaged just 13 points in a five-game stretch, but he closed like the superstar he has become.

First Team

RJ Barrett, SG, Duke, Fr.
Rui Hachimura, Gonzaga, PF, Jr.
Grant Williams, PF, Tennessee, Jr.
Zion Williamson, PF, Duke, Fr.
Cassius Winston, PG, Michigan State, Jr.

Second Team

Jarrett Culver, SG, Texas Tech, So.
Ethan Happ, C, Wisconsin, Sr.
Markus Howard, PG, Marquette, Jr.
Dedric Lawson, PF, Kansas, Jr.
Ja Morant, PG, Murray State, So.

Third Team

Brandon Clarke, C, Gonzaga, Jr.
Carsen Edwards, SG, Purdue, Jr.
Kyle Guy, SG, Virginia, Jr.
De'Andre Hunter, SF, Virginia, So.

Will that affect his signing bonus in Lithuania?

It will give him an opportunity to come back next year and win his 3rd straight SEC POY award.

Great player and well deserved, but he sure is easy to hate during a game. He works the refs more than the coaches despite getting a lot of calls to go his way.

Thread about All-American for Vol player.

First response is about LSU.

And LSU fans are the triggered ones you say?

You literally can’t help yourself but to bring LSU up in every single basketball thread on this board huh. You make it so painfully obvious you got rejected or a LSU guy fricked your old lady

You should’ve seen the dude yesterday. An AUBURN fan asked where the UTk fans were and this guy literally asks with the first post “But but where’s Will Wade??”. His old favorite school has the man absolutely rustled out of his mind

No LSU players on the three deep All-America teams. That Will Wade is a dynamite coach!

But he'll have the highest draft pick among the two schools.

Sad that with him and the rest of the talent, Barnes was only able to muster a 2-seed and a 3-seed in the SEC Tournament that past two years. Disappointing.

Which player? Last I heard LSU doesn't have a single player projected in the first round of the mock-NBA drafts.
