Going to Columbia in November will feel really weird.

I think still think 10-2 is worst case scenario. That would be losing 2 out of 3 against Bama, AU and UF.

I mean.... "Worst case scenario" could be pretty bad. If Monken can't get a system installed and/or Newman can't adjust to SEC speed, a lot of the things that we many may have taken for granted about Jake's limitations could become problematic.

For all his flaws/faults, Jake was reluctant to throw balls that might get picked off and he generally read the defenses pretty well. Newman's been criticized for his performance against zone D, and I can't imagine that if that continues to be an issue that he won't see it almost exclusively. Additionally, we're still counting on young receivers to step up in the new offense.

My worst case 9-3 +/-1 was envisioning a scenario with an abnormal number of interceptions thrown and generally poor installation of Monken's system... By no means do I think it's probable that we end up there, just that there truly could be a pretty low floor if a lot of things go wrong. Unlikely as it may be, I try to be pretty unbiased when I throw ceiling/floor stuff together. I could see a case for removing the -1 on that 9-3 variable, as I don't see a clear 4th potential loss barring some insane growth from a team like Tennessee.
