Sorry to get off topic but what explosion has cook ever shown? He's a change of pace guy who can play different personnel packages without having to change personnel packages.

Back to Edwards, his top speed isn't as important as his agility in a phone booth that can turn a 2 yd gain into a 13 yd gain by making the first guy miss. How is he in that department?

Skrong... See highlights I linked. His lateral cut and burst looks very good.

Additionally looks to be an elite receiving back... Seamless catch while running often in the clips.

Yes, Edwards can make a couple guys miss and even wiggle out of contact a bit, turning 0-2 yard gains into 10-12 yard 1st downs. He can also catch contested 20 yard wheel routes as his hands are spectacular.

He's really a decent back in these regards. BUT, we all thought we sorta had this already in Milton who is virtually the same thing, just bigger.

Zamir White is really the only back we have that can outrun defenders with any certainty.

BTW, wait until you guys see Raleek Brown. He'll be a Dawg in 2022.

He has the potential with his speed. But yeah, you are right. he hasn't taken a long one to the hose that I remember.

I agree with you 100%. hey. I am firmly in the Edwards camp. I think he will prove to be a good pickup. I am not expecting Swift/Chubb/Michel....but I do think he can be as good if not better than Holyfield. (And I like Holyfield, alot)
